Information we monitor about visitors to our website

Customer’s personal data stored: Name, address, telephone number and email address
1. Data processing on behalf of Toftwood Garden Centre
Customer’s personal data (name, address, telephone number and email address) is solely used for the purpose of delivering plants/goods to customers’ homes/ specified locations by Allan Read (Owner of Toftwood Garden Centre), after being obtained by staff at Toftwood Garden Centre in person.
2. Security
Customer’s details are held in the office, which is located at Allan Read’s (Owner of Toftwood Garden Centre) home address. The property is fully secured when not occupied. All data stored on the computer is secured by a password, only known by Allan Read. Any paper documents containing personal data, e.g. delivery notes, are securely held in a locked cabinet prior to the delivery date of goods, which only Allan Read has the key to access. Once goods have been delivered successfully all paper documents containing personal data, e.g. delivery notes, will be shredded by Allan Read.
3. Rights of data subject
Customers have the right to request to view any personal information held on them by Toftwood Garden Centre. Allan Read (Owner) will co-operate fully to assist customers to exercise their rights under the GDPR.
4. Breach Notification
If a breach of a customer’s personal details is detected, Allan Read will notify the customer within 24 hours.
5. Transfers to third countries/parties
Allan Read and staff at Toftwood Garden Centre will not transfer any personal data to third parties outside of the United Kingdom. Customer’s personal data is held solely for the purpose of Toftwood Garden Centre, to provide our customers with delivery services, and not for other purposes such as marketing.
