Customer Satisfaction & Returns Policy
At Toftwood Garden Centre, we pride ourselves on offering healthy plants and quality products. We want you to be happy with everything you take home. Below is our returns and complaints policy, which is designed to be fair, clear, and consistent for everyone.
Returns Eligibility – General Products
- Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase
- A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required
- Items must be in unused and saleable condition
- We offer exchanges or store credit only – we do not issue cash refunds
Responsibility Upon Purchase
- Pots: Please inspect all outdoor pots thoroughly before purchase. Once they leave the premises, they become your responsibility. We assume that any breakages discovered after purchase occurred while in your care and are not eligible for return or exchange.
- Plants: As soon as plants leave our premises, they become your responsibility. We encourage all customers to inspect plants at the point of purchase. If you’re not completely satisfied with the condition, please speak to a member of our team before completing your purchase.
Returns & Complaints – Living Goods
For items such as vegetable plants, annual plants, pack bedding plants, bulbs, bare-root stock, and seeds, the following applies:
- These items are considered perishable and are non-refundable and non-returnable under any circumstance once purchased.
- However, if you believe an item was sold in poor condition, please notify us within 14 days of purchase, and we will inspect it.
- Each case will be assessed individually, taking into account the care given, planting conditions, and environmental factors.
- We regret that damage due to neglect, extreme weather, or improper care is not grounds for return or replacement.
Discounted, Clearance or Sale Items
- All sale, discounted, and promotional items (including discounted plants) are final sale and not eligible for return, refund, or exchange
Returns After 30 Days
If you bring an item back after the 30-day return window, we are not obligated to offer any return or exchange. However, we’re always happy to take a look and see if we can help.
- Items returned after 30 days may be inspected at our discretion.
- We are unable to offer credit or exchange for items showing signs of weather damage or negligence.
- Decisions on these returns are final and made in line with this policy.
